  • Green Summit Development is a privately owned development property company
  • Founded in 11 th April 2009
  • Engaged in the development and management of real estate properties in Miri, Sarawak.
  • The company is also involved in upcoming high return investment and property acquisition throughout Miri.
  • It is one of the subsidiary company of Green Summit Corporation Sdn Bhd which the Director who also run retail business known as Nam Leong for over 20 years .

 

DIRECTORS' PROFILE

Khor Ooi Long 

(Founder and Group Managing Director)

In 1986, Mr Khor established Nam Leong Retail Group, which is now one of the subsidiaries of Green Summit Group.

With his leadership and experience in the retail business, the growth of the business  accelerated. The business has now diversified  into other range of industries such as food & beverage, mobile technology, energy and now property development.

Mr Khor believes in building homes and providing communities with an extraordinary lifestyle of living experiences and not just limited to the concept of living in four walls.  His strong  confidence personality strives to bring the company to a higher level of business development.

 

James Hii Sing Lung 

(Founder & Chief Executive Officer)

James is the Chief Executive Officer of Green Summit Development Sdn Bhd. James is responsible for the company’s organization, strategic planning, negotiation and financial planning.

James started his career in civil engineering as part of the pioneer team of SP Setia Berhad Group as a civil engineer in Johor Bahru.

Prior to joining Green Summit Development, James served as a project manager and founded Promptrite Sdn Bhd in 2004.  James often leads team of architects, interior designers and project managers in design development, interior design and project management in making his property development project’s a successful one.

Despite his busy business schedules, James is also actively involved in community services. In 2013, James is appointed as a councilor in Miri City Council through NGO's nomination.

James holds an engineering degree with first class honours in University Teknologi Malaysia.

 

Hii Puo Sing

(Chief Financial Officer)

Mr Hii was appointed Executive Director of Green Summit Development Sdn Bhd on 1 January 2016.

Mr Hii joined the Group in May 2014 as the Chief Financial Officer and has worked closely with the Group's senior leadership since his arrival. He oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, internal audit, investor relations, tax function and facilities function at the Group. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Hii has worked at major timber-based corporations in Miri, including Samling Group as an Accountant and Jim Log Group as its Group Accountant.

Mr Hii is a fellow of the Malaysia Institute of Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University. He is also a qualified GST advisor.

 

Chriz Chan Ho Lin

(Chief Marketing Officer)

Ms Chriz bring solid experience in client relations to her work in sales and marketing at Green Summit Development Group of Companies. Ms Chriz joined the Group in year 2011 as a Senior Sales & Credit Officer and has grown with the Group ever since. As Chief Marketing Officer, Ms Chriz is responsible for product and field marketing, branding and events, demand generation, as well as public, analyst and influencer relations for the Group.  

Prior to joining the Group, Ms Chriz was the Senior Wedding Planner at Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club. Ms Chriz takes pleasure in her career as a marketing professional and her early success was attributed to her ability to communicate with her clients and her diligent attention to detials that are necessary when managing client portfolios.

Ms Chriz received a Bachelor of Business Planning from Bolton University.

Currently, she also serves as Assistant Secretary of the Lions Club of Miri Mandarin.

Ms Chriz was appointed Executive Director of Green Summit Development Sdn Bhd on 1 January 2016.
